Driver Angelo Arias Arrested in Clarkson Street Deadly Crash [Northglenn, CO]

Northglenn, CO (June 4, 2026) – The authorities arrested Angelo Arias, an 18-year-old driver, following a Clarkson Street deadly crash Thursday night.

It was around 11:50 p.m. on May 28 when a deadly traffic crash happened at the 10400 block area, near 112th Avenue.

According to the accident report, troopers attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was erratically driven. The driver, Arias, stopped, but fled the traffic stop.

The vehicle then crashed onto a home on Clarkson Street. 

Responding officers located Arias and his 18-year-old female passenger, who was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, but later died.

Troopers arrested Arias on charges of vehicular homicide and other related charges. 

Moreover, a natural gas line ruptured as a result of the crash and several homes were evacuated as a precaution. 

Officers later allowed residents to return to their homes after making sure the area was safe.
