Annette Gorr Dies in Pedestrian Crash on State Route 97

Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on SR-97 Near Brewster

Brewster, WA (November 3, 2025) — 64-year-old Annette Gorr of Brewster, lost her life Saturday evening after multiple vehicles struck her along State Route 97, about five miles east of Brewster.

The Washington State Patrol reported that Gorr was walking in the northbound lane when a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Anselmo Morales-Enriquez tried to swerve but still hit her. After the collision, Gorr remained on the roadway, where another northbound driver struck her and fled the scene.

Moments later, a third driver, 22-year-old Jeremy Liberty of Easton, also hit Gorr. Authorities later located Liberty, but the second driver remains at large. Investigators continue to search for the hit-and-run vehicle as the case remains under review.
