Nason Creek, WA (August 21, 2025) — A multi-vehicle crash on US 2 left 24-year-old Annie Yang and 3 other people injured late Monday afternoon.

The Washington State Patrol reported that traffic had slowed in the westbound lanes when 59-year-old Troy Peterson of Fort Pierce, Florida, attempted an improper pass. His vehicle struck another car, which then hit a parked truck before colliding with a third vehicle.

Peterson and his passenger, 51-year-old Jennifer Peterson of Mukilteo, suffered injuries and were transported to Harborview Medical Center.
