Anthony Banda of Bryan Dead in Highway 21 Collision [Bryan, TX]

Bryan, TX (May 9, 2026) – Anthony Banda, 18, of Bryan, was killed in a Highway 21 collision Thursday night.

It was before 10 p.m.when the deadly traffic crash happened at the 6100 block area.

Investigators said a westbound SUV on the freeway entered the center turn lane to turn left onto Wallis Road. 

At the same time, an eastbound motorcycle on Highway 21 entered the center turn lane to make a left turn onto Crosswind Drive.

The motorcycle driven by Banda collided with the front of the SUV, killing the motorcyclist.

Moreover, the SUV driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

Police said they do not suspect alcohol or drugs as factors in the collision.
