Anthony Ferraro, 20, Arrested in 4th Street Deadly Crash

Fatality Reported in Albuquerque DWI Collision

Albuquerque, NM (June 4, 2026) – 20-year-old Anthony Ferraro of Albuquerque was arrested following a 4th Street deadly crash Monday.

State Police officers were assisting in a collision on Frontage Road June 1, when a collision happened on 4th Street.

Troopers responded to 4th Street and found Ferraro outside the vehicle and moving a can of Twisted Tea away from the crash scene.

Albuquerque Fire Rescue extricated and provided aid to at least 2 passengers in separate vehicles.

Sadly, one of the victims was declared dead at UNMH.

Moreover, police smelled alcohol on Ferraro but he told them he did not have anything to drink and he would not take field sobriety tests.

Ferraro was then taken to the State Police office where he refused breath tests.

The accident repot stated that on December 2025, Ferraro was charged with negligent use of a deadly weapon, DWI, and failure to maintain lane by the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office.

Ferraro is facing homicide by vehicle and DWI on this fatal crash.
