Anthony Zinn Killed After Tow Truck Rollover on I-20 in Reeves County

Reeves County, TX (April 28, 2026) — A 38-year-old man, identified as Anthony Michael Zinn of Duncan, OK, died following a violent rollover crash Saturday night along Interstate 20 in Reeves County.

The incident happened around 9:00 p.m. near mile marker 26 as Zinn drove a tow truck westbound. Authorities said he attempted to avoid smoke on the roadway and shifted lanes, but lost control during the maneuver. The tow truck veered back, overturned, and scattered debris across the highway.

During the rollover, cargo from the tow truck struck a following Freightliner truck head-on. Emergency responders transported Zinn to Odessa Regional Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

The other driver involved sustained minor injuries at the scene.
