Anthony Thomas Killed in Horrific Rear-End Crash on I-10 [Chandler, AZ]

Chandler, AZ (September 18, 2024) On Sunday afternoon, 74-year-old Anthony Thomas of Chandler was killed in a tragic rear-end crash on I-10.

Authorities arrested 58-year-old Amelia Napper-Kelso, after a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 10

Reports say that the collision occurred around 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Ray Road off-ramp.

Court documents reveal that Napper-Kelso was speeding in her Mercedes-Benz SUV when she rear-ended a Chevrolet Corvette, driven by Thomas, which was stopped at a red light in the right-turn lane.

Moreover, the impact pushed the Corvette into a GMC Yukon. Medics rushed Thomas to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Authorities are investigating the fatal crash.
