Antonio Huerta of Huntington Beach Killed in Slater Avenue Collision [Fountain Valley, CA]

Fountain Valley, CA (May 17, 2024) – 52-year-old Antonio Huerta of Huntington Beach was killed following a Slater Avenue collision Sunday morning.

It was past 7 a.m. when the deadly hit-and-run crash happened at the intersection with Santa Maria Street.

Huerta was riding his bike when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

Responding crews located the victim on the sidewalk and rushed him to a hospital where he died Monday.

Meanwhile, the investigators are searching for a vehicle traveling east on Slater Avenue from Newland Street when the driver swerved into the bicycle lane and struck the victim.
