Araceli Guzman Dies in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 41 [Fresno County, CA]

Araceli Guzman Killed in Fresno Car Accident

 
Fresno County, CA (November 9, 2020) – On Saturday, 54-year-old Araceli Guzman of Armona died in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 41 near Adams Avenues.
 
Officers received reports of the three-vehicle crash at around 8 PM in Fresno County.
 
When authorities arrived, they found three cars sustaining major damage on the northbound lanes of the highway.
 
A driver in a 2017 Honda Accord was driving south on Highway 41 approaching Adams Avenue.
 
At the same time, a 2002 Toyota Camry carrying two people and a 2004 GMC Yukon occupied by three people were both approaching the intersection from the north.
 
For unknown reasons, the Accord driver crossed from the southbound lanes of Highway 41 into the northbound lanes.
 
As a result, the Accord crashed with Toyota and GMC.
 
Authorities then pronounced Ms. Guzman, a Camry passenger, dead at the scene.
 
Furthermore, the rescuers rushed the Accord driver to Community Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. while the Camry driver sustained major injuries.
 
The GMC driver and passenger both sustained minor injuries. They were not transported to a hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the CHP reported alcohol and/or drugs were not factors in the crash. They continue with the investigation.
