Ariana Solis Sustains Major Injuries in DUI Crash on SR 162 [Willows, CA]

Willows, CA (June 10, 2025) – Ariana Solis, 19,, was injured in a DUI crash on SR 162 early Saturday morning.

The DUI collision happened around 3:45 a.m. on June 7 in Fruto.

Investigators said Angelica Callahan, 19, was speeding west on the freeway. 

Troopers said a portion of the road was curved to the left before curving again to the right. Callahan lost control of her vehicle and overturned onto its roof in the middle of the road.

Two of Callahan’s passengers, Ariana Solis, and a 17-year-old male, both sustained major injuries. They were rushed to Enloe Hospital in Chico. 

Another passenger, Jaden Fragoso, 18, incurred minor injuries and did not need to be hospitalized.

Callahan was airlifted to Enloe Hospital with major injuries. Officers said she will be arrested upon her release

According to the authorities, Callahan was driving at a stated speed of 80 mph while highly intoxicated.
