Arturo Marquez Dies in Deadly Pedestrian Crash on Dyer Street [Union City, CA]

Union City, CA (April 27, 2023) On April 19, 76-year-old Arturo Marquez of Hayward, died almost a month after the San Marco Court pedestrian accident.

Union City PD says that the pedestrian crash happened on March 23 in the area of Dyer Street and San Marco Court at around 9:35 p.m.

Reports say that first responders found Marquez on the roadway and was unresponsive, medics rushed the patient to a hospital for immediate treatment.

However, officials say that Marquez died at the hospital on April 19. Authorities are investigating the pedestrian accident and say that the driver is cooperating with officials.
