Los Angeles, CA (February 2, 2026) — 45-year-old Arturo Hernandez Renteria was identified as the pedestrian who died after being hit by a vehicle Saturday night on the Harbor (110) Freeway in Los Angeles.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 8:33 p.m. north of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Investigators said Renteria ran from the right shoulder toward the center divider when a northbound Mercedes-Benz struck him. The driver, a 30-year-old woman from Moreno Valley, remained at the scene following the collision.
