Asia Debrow of Brenham Dies in Head-On Crash on Highway 36 [Burleson County, TX]

Burleson County, TX (December 4, 2024) – 28-year-old Asia Debrow of Brenham was fatally injured following a head-on crash on Highway 36 Monday night.

The deadly traffic crash happened at 7:10 p.m. a mile north of Lyons.

According to the investigators, a 2016 Kia Optima was traveling south on the highway while a 2025 Honda Civic was traveling north.

Troopers said the Honda crossed the center line in a marked no-passing zone and struck the Kia.

Responding police declared a front seat passenger, Asia Debrow, deceased at the scene. 

Moreover, the Kia driver was transported to CHI St Joseph Regional in Bryan with minor injuries. At the same time, another Kia passenger was airlifted to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple with serious injuries. 

A five and an eight-year-old boy were airlifted to McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple with serious injuries. 

The Honda driver was transported to CHI St. Joseph Regional in Bryan with minor injuries.

Meanwhile, the authorities are still investigating this collision.
