ATV Crash Along Lake View Drive Injures 2 People [St. Francois County, MO]

St. Francois County, MO (May 29, 2025) — Two people suffered injuries Friday evening after an ATV crash along Lake View Drive in St. Francois County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6:43 p.m. on May 23 near Scenic View Circle.

Investigators said a 2005 Polaris Sportsman was traveling eastbound when it left the roadway, overturned, and threw both occupants from the vehicle.

A 47-year-old man from De Soto sustained moderate injuries in the crash. Emergency crews transported him to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for treatment.

A 42-year-old woman from St. Louis suffered serious injuries and was airlifted by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

Officials said the ATV sustained minor damage and was later released to a friend at the scene.
