Horrific ATV Crash Near Raider Road Kills 37-Year-Old Woman [St. Francois County, MO]

St. Francois County, MO (March 23, 2025) – A 37-year-old woman lost her life, and a 43-year-old woman sustained injuries in an ATV crash near Raider Road late Saturday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the fatal collision happened at around 11:45 p.m. near Raider Road and VO-Tec Road, south of Bonne Terre.

Reports say that an ATV, a 2024 Polaris General X4 1000, veered off the right side of the road, hit a pole, and overturned.

Emergency responders transported both passengers to local hospitals. The 37-year-old was taken to Parkland Health Center in Bonne Terre, where she died less than an hour later. The 43-year-old was taken to Parkland Health Center in Farmington with moderate injuries.

The ATV’s driver, a 47-year-old man from Bonne Terre, was not listed as injured in the crash report. Authorities are still investigating whether the vehicle was insured and if seatbelts were in use.
