3 Hurt in Yakima Auto Accident on US Highway 12

YAKIMA, WA (August 27, 2025) – Sunday morning, Austin Singletary and 2 others suffered injuries in an alarming car crash on US Highway 12.

Authorities said 21-year-olds Singletary, Dakota Clark-Deweese, and Dylan Moore were injured after the 2000 Toyota Corolla driven by Singletary went off the road and down a 70-foot embankment.

Moore and Singletary were treated and later discharged from the hospital, according to officials. Clark-Deweese, who was in the front passenger seat, was transported to a Seattle hospital in critical condition.

His family said he suffered multiple facial fractures, blunt-force trauma to the head, and spinal injuries.
