Sacramento, CA (November 9, 2023) On Wednesday evening, a person was hit and killed in an auto-pedestrian hit-and-run on Florin Road.

According to the CHP, the fatal crash happened at about 7:15 p.m. at Florin Road and Franklin Boulevard.

Reports say that a vehicle fatally struck a man in his 50’s and fled the scene before authorities arrived.

Officials say that the suspect driver and vehicle remains at large and no description was available at this time.

CHP is investigating the fatal hit-and-run crash.
