Three-Vehicle Collision on SR-28 Near Quincy Injures People
Quincy, WA (February 15, 2026) — On Thursday, 23-year-old Axel Medina and 48-year-old Alejandra Hernandez were injured in a three-vehicle crash on State Route 28.
WSP officers stated that the collision happened around 7:15 p.m. approximately three miles east of Quincy.
Investigators determined that a sports car left the roadway and struck a sedan parked on the shoulder. The impact pushed that vehicle into another sedan parked. Two people were pinned between the cars.
Emergency responders transported Medina and Hernandez to Quincy Valley Hospital.
Authorities cited the driver of the sports car for causing the crash and confirmed impairment was not a factor.
When you’re behind the wheel, remember—you’re not alone out there. Every time you drive, you’re part of a community that shares the road. That’s why it’s so important to stay alert, drive responsibly, and respect others. Safe driving doesn’t just protect you; it keeps your loved ones, neighbors, and even total strangers safe too.
If we all do our part—slow down, stay focused, and avoid distractions—we can make the roads safer for everyone.
And don’t forget the simplest safety tip of all: always buckle up. Whether you’re the driver or a passenger, wearing your seatbelt is one of the easiest and most effective ways to prevent serious injury in a crash. Sweet Lawyers encourages everyone to make it a habit—every trip, every time.
Stopping on highway shoulders can be dangerous, especially at night. Drivers should slow down near stopped vehicles, remain alert, and move over when possible to help prevent secondary crashes and serious injuries.
