Castro Valley Woman Alix Mari Sparks Dies in Suspected DUI Crash on Crow Canyon Road

San Ramon, CA (November 30, 2025) — On Saturday afternoon, a tragic crash on Crow Canyon Road claimed the life of Castro Valley woman Alix Mari Sparks and led to the arrest of 28-year-old Badal Dholaria of Pleasanton

According to authorities, the fatal collision happened around 3:23 p.m. on Crow Canyon Road. Officials say that a Ford Bronco and a Tesla Model 3 crashed.

San Ramon police determined that the Tesla’s driver, Dholaria, was under the influence at the time. Officers arrested Dholaria and booked him into the Martinez Detention Facility on DUI and vehicular manslaughter charges. His bail is set at $300,000.

Authorities have released the victim’s name as Alix Mari Sparks, 41.
