Yuba City, CA (May 21, 2025) — 69-year-old Balwinder Kaur lost her life after an SUV struck her Monday night in Yuba City, according to local police.

Officers responded around 9:23 p.m. to the 2600 block of North Colusa Frontage Road. When they arrived, they found Kaur in a nearby ditch after the impact reportedly threw her about 50 feet. Authorities also located her walker near the scene.

Emergency crews performed CPR before transporting Kaur to a nearby hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
