Man Arrested after Fatal DUI Crash on Grand Avenue in Surprise
Surprise, AZ (October 14, 2023) -Early Saturday morning, two sisters, identified as 19-year-old Bea Cueto and 20-year-old Althea Cueto, died from their injuries in the crash on Grand Avenue.
Surprise police said the crash occurred near Grand Avenue and Deer Valley Road just after 2 a.m. on October 14.
The 22-year-old man, driving the other vehicle, was taken into custody, as alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
Potential charges are pending lab results.
