Biak Cin of Purdy Arrested in DWI Crash on Missouri Route B [Barry County, MO]

Barry County, MO (July 8, 2026) – The authorities arrested Biak Cin, 36, of Purdy, following a DWI crash on Missouri Route B Friday night.

It was about 9:30 p.m. on July 3 when the traffic accident happened west of Purdy.

Responding officers said Cin was one of the drivers involved in the collision. According to them, Cin had bloodshot eyes and a strong odor of intoxicants coming from his breath. Police added that Cin’s blood alcohol level was .183%.

MSHP stated that an eastbound truck driven by Cin crossed the centerline and struck an SUV head-on. 

The SUV then overturned as a result of the impact. Three juveniles were riding the SUV.

Moreover, the medical team rushed the SUV’s driver, a 16-year-old boy, and a passenger in the SUV, a 15-year-old girl, both from Purdy, to Cox South in Springfield. The driver sustained moderate injuries, while the girl has incurred serious injuries.

Cin was not hurt in the collision, and has been charged with one count of DWI – serious physical injury, and one count of DWI – physical injury in this case.

It has been reported that Cin was also convicted of DWI in 2024 in Barry County.
