Howard County, TX (January 14, 2025) On Saturday evening, 39-year-old Jerrison Moore was killed in a disastrous bicycle accident on IH-20.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the deadly crash happened on the Interstate Highway 20 north service road near mile marker 187.

Reports say that a tragic crash on Saturday night claimed the life of Moore.

Authorities say that 18-year-old Joshua Eilenberger driving a 2001 Ford ZX2, was heading west when he struck Moore from behind.

Officials say that Moore, who was riding his bicycle in the middle of the roadway, suffered fatal injuries.

Emergency responders transported Moore to Scenic Mountain Medical in Big Spring, where he was pronounced dead.

Officials noted that Moore was wearing dark clothing, lacked safety gear, and his bicycle was not equipped with lighting. Meanwhile, Eilenberger, who wore a seatbelt, did not sustain injuries.

The investigation into the crash remains ongoing, and authorities have yet to release additional details.
