Bicyclist Killed in Collision on Grand Avenue in Santa Ana

Santa Ana, CA (August 29, 2025) On Wednesday evening, a tragic bicycle accident on Grand Avenue left a male bicyclist dead a vehicle struck him.

According to authorities, the deadly crash happened around 11:35 p.m. at Grand Avenue and Grovemont Street.

Responders pronounced the man dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.

Police confirmed the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Authorities also reported no signs of impairment.

Grand Avenue was shut down for several hours between Fairhaven and Santa Clara avenues as crews worked on the investigation.
