Tragic Bicycle Accident on Lone Tree Way Kills 33-Year-Old Man [Antioch, CA]

Cyclist Fatally Struck After Falling into Roadway in Antioch

Antioch, CA (May 08, 2025) – A 33-year-old man lost his life after a tragic bicycle accident on Lone Tree Way.

According to authorities, the fatal incident happened on April 19 around 8:10 a.m. along Lone Tree Way, just south of James Donlon Boulevard.

Reports say that the man tragically lost his life after falling into the roadway and being struck by a passing vehicle in Antioch.

Emergency responders transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have not yet released his identity.

The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene and fully cooperated with investigators. Antioch police confirmed that neither drugs nor alcohol appeared to play a role in the accident.

The police department’s traffic unit is continuing its investigation.
