Bicyclist Hospitalized After Crash on 78th Street in Scottsdale

Scottsdale, AZ (April 26, 2024) – On Friday, one person sustained injuries in a crash on 78th Street and Indian School Road.

The incident occurred at the intersection of 78th Street and Indian School Road, just east of Old Town Scottsdale. 

Responders transported the bicyclist to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Scottsdale police are currently investigating the crash, resulting in the closure of eastbound Indian School Road from Miller Road to 78th Street. 

Authorities expect the road to remain closed for the next several hours. 

Police have not yet identified the individuals involved or determined the cause of the collision.
