Santa Ana Vehicle Crash Kills Bicycle Rider

Santa Ana, CA (May 12, 2026) – A bicycle rider was fatally injured following a Fairview Street traffic crash Sunday noon.

The deadly crash happened at 12:10 p.m. at the intersection with 12th Street.

Officers said the victim was riding across Fairview Street outside of a crosswalk when a southbound vehicle struck him.

Immediately, rescuers responded to the scene and declared the bicyclist deceased.

The driver of the southbound vehicle stayed and cooperated with the investigation.
