Police Search for the Hit-And-Run Driver After Crash on Greenley Road in Sonora

Sonora, CA (August 21, 2025) – CHP is investigating a hit-and-run crash on Greenley Road involving a bicyclist on Thursday morning. 

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision took place around 11:15 a.m.

First responders arrived quickly at the scene, where they found injuries and called for an ambulance. 

Authorities confirmed that a bicyclist was involved, although the exact circumstances remain unclear. 

Witnesses reported that a blue Dodge pickup truck forced another vehicle off the roadway just before or during the incident.

Following the crash, police issued a “Be on the Lookout” alert for the pickup truck believed to have fled the scene. 

While the full details are still under investigation, the CHP has cleared the crash scene and reopened traffic in the area.

Officers are urging the public to report any sightings or information related to the suspect vehicle.
