Oracio Garcia Arrested after Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash on 51st and Olive Avenues in Glendale

Glendale, AZ (February 12, 2023) –  Early Sunday morning, a male bicyclist died in a hit-and-run crash on 51st and Olive avenues.

The fatal hit-and-run crash in Glendale happened around 5:35 a.m. on February 12.

Glendale Police said they learned 30-year-old Oracio Garcia was headed north on 51st Avenue when a bicyclist rode out in front of his car. 

He fled the scene before the police arrived. Garcia was found and arrested in the area, thanks to witnesses’ information.

The victim died at the crash scene.

Currently, Garcia faces various charges, including felony hit and run.
