Big Rig Accident on FM 1472 Results in Injuries [Laredo, TX]

Laredo, TX (March 12, 2026) — Two people suffered injuries Tuesday afternoon after a horrific accident on FM 1472 involving a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle.

According to the Laredo Police Department, the collision happened around 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 1472 and State Highway 255.

Authorities said a semi-truck collided with a Nissan vehicle during the incident. The force of the crash caused the Nissan to overturn and come to rest on its side.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported two injured individuals to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Officials have not yet released additional details about the victims’ conditions.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
