Frightening Big Rig Collision on Highway 152 Claims a Life [Los Baños, CA]

Los Baños, CA (May 23, 2025) Early Thursday morning, a horrific big rig collision on Highway 152 left a driver dead.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash happened on northbound I-5 near the Highway 152 interchange at around 4:50 a.m.

Reports say that the collision involved a white 2001 GMC Safari Van and a 2002–2010 International vehicle.

Authorities believe the suspect vehicle may have been traveling westbound on Highway 152 toward Hollister or Gilroy and likely has front-end damage.

CHP urges anyone with information to contact the Los Banos office at 209-826-3811.

Officials have not yet released the identity of the victim.
