Brutal Big Rig Collision on Maple Avenue Under Investigation [Fresno, CA]

Fresno, CA (November 14, 2025) — Early Thursday morning, a big rig collision on Maple Avenue caused minor injuries and a local power outage.

According to authorities, the crash happened around 2:36 a.m. at Maple and American Avenues.

Authorities found a gas tanker and an empty semi-truck with major damage. One driver was taken to the hospital, while both sustained only minor injuries.

The collision also damaged an electrical pole, leaving 326 residents without power. PG&E crews are expected to repair the pole around 7 a.m. A fuel spill from the tanker remains until the trucks can be safely towed.
