Big Rig Crash on Manning Avenue Injures 2 People [Fresno County, CA]

Fresno County, CA (November 19, 2025) — A semi-truck crash on Manning Avenue in rural Fresno County sent two people to the hospital Sunday evening after the big rig reportedly failed to stop at the intersection.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a semi hauling a trailer was heading south on Highway 145 at about 55 mph around 4:40 p.m. As it approached the stop sign at Manning Avenue, the truck continued through the intersection and struck the left side of an eastbound GMC traveling on the main roadway at a slow speed.

The GMC’s driver and front passenger were taken to a nearby hospital after reporting pain. Two children under 10, who were riding in the back seat, were not injured. The semi-truck driver was unhurt, and investigators say impairment does not appear to be a factor.
