Indio, CA (April 26, 2023) – On Monday, 40-year-old Blanca Quevedo of Thermal died in a pedestrian crash on Interstate 10.

The fatal traffic crash happened shortly past 10 p.m. on the eastbound freeway near Jackson Street.

Quevedo was hit by a big rig and died at the scene. 

Meanwhile, the authorities from Indio’s California Highway Patrol office are investigating the incident.
