Injuries Reported in Antioch Bicycle Accident on Lone Tree Way and Muirwood Drive

ANTIOCH, CA (August 7, 2025) – Monday night, a 13-year-old boy suffered injuries in a disastrous bicycle crash on Lone Tree Way and Muirwood Drive.

The incident happened at about 6:46 p.m. on Lone Tree Way and Muirwood Drive.

Antioch police say officers saw a Nissan Pathfinder hit a 3-year-old boy at the intersection of Lone Tree Way and Muirwood Drive. The child was knocked unconscious, and officers immediately gave medical aid.

He was airlifted to a nearby hospital with major injuries and is currently listed in critical but stable condition.

The 24-year-old driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Police say he wasn’t speeding and is not suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
