Wichita Falls, TX (December 27, 2025) — 69-year-old Brad Boddy died after being struck by a vehicle on Southwest Parkway on Christmas evening, authorities confirmed.

Police reported that Boddy was crossing the road from east to west when a northbound vehicle in the left lane failed to see him. Boddy was transported to United Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Emergency responders, including Wichita Falls Fire Department, police, and AMR medical personnel, arrived between 6 and 6:30 p.m. The crash temporarily closed lanes on Southwest Parkway, and drivers were advised to avoid the area.
