Brady Matteson Dies in 2-Vehicle Crash on West Orange Grove Road [Tucson, AZ]

Tucson, AZ (June 20, 2025) — A fatal two-vehicle crash northwest of Tucson claimed the life of 21-year-old Brady Matteson and left another driver injured Thursday afternoon.

According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, Brady Allen Matteson was riding eastbound on West Orange Grove Road near North Taylor Lane around 12:30 p.m. when his motorcycle collided with a westbound vehicle that was attempting to make a left turn.

The impact threw Matteson from his motorcycle. He suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle sustained possible minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision. Preliminary findings indicate that speed may have contributed to the crash.
