Brandon Alarcon, Victor Lujan and Anzhel Villegas-Lemus Dies in Tragic Crash on Shore Road [Gilroy, CA]

Gilroy, CA (February 11, 2025) 18-year-old Brandon Alarcon, 17-year-old Victor Lujan, and 17-year-old Anzhel Villegas-Lemus, were pronounced dead after a horrific crash on Shore Road Tuesday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the shocking tragedy happened just before 7 p.m. west of Lake Road.

Reports say at least three vehicles were involved in the crash.

Authorities say that the driver of a westbound vehicle lost control, veered into oncoming traffic, and collided with an eastbound car. The driver and two rear-seat passengers of the westbound vehicle did not survive.

Emergency responders airlifted passengers from the other vehicles to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The investigation remains ongoing.

Hollister High School officials expressed their condolences to the victims’ families, acknowledging the impact of the tragedy on the school community.

The school is offering counseling services throughout the week to help students cope with the tragedy.
