Brandon Mast of Bellingham Dies in Samish Way Pedestrian Accident [Bellingham, WA]

Bellingham, WA (February 21, 2023) – On February 18, Brandon Mast, 47, of Bellingham, sustained fatal injuries following a Samish Way pedestrian accident.

According to the investigating officers, Mast was seen screaming on the sidewalk before the crash happened.

Then, a southbound driver in the 100 block area approached the crosswalk and did not see Mast until they struck him. The driver pulled over and turned on the car’s hazard lights. 

While Mast was laying on the ground with the crosswalk lights not activated, another driver has seen the first car had pulled over but did not have the time to avoid hitting Mast.

Both the drivers remained at the accident scene. The officers investigating the Bellingham fatal crash do not suspect drugs, alcohol, or speed violations for either driver.
