Upland, CA (May 31, 2025) — On Thursday afternoon, a traffic collision in Upland claimed the life of 24-year-old Rancho Cucamonga resident Brandon Silva.

At approximately 2:55 p.m. on May 28, the California Highway Patrol responded to a crash in the 2400 block of North Mountain Avenue. Authorities identified the victim as Silva, who was driving at the time of the collision.

Emergency responders pronounced Silva dead at the scene. Officials have not released additional details about the circumstances leading up to the crash.
