Brayden Lynn Baldwin Killed in 2-Car Crash on Highway 377 [Brown County, TX]

Brown County, TX (November 5, 2025) — 18-year-old Brayden Lynn Baldwin of Lampasas lost his life Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 377.

Investigators said a pickup driven by Baldwin lost control on the wet roadway near mile marker 432. When Baldwin tried to regain control, his vehicle skidded and collided with a Freightliner truck tractor hauling a semi-trailer that was traveling uphill.

The impact caused the truck tractor to burst into flames, trapping the driver inside. The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Baldwin, however, died from his injuries before emergency crews could assist him.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
