Britney Vasquez Gomez Killed in 16th Street Dirt Bike Crash [Phoenix, AZ]

Phoenix, AZ (June 27, 2025) – 19-year-old Britney Vasquez Gomez tragically lost her life after horrific dirt bike crash near 16th Street.

According to authorities, the fatal crash happened just before 10 p.m. near 16th Street and Southern Avenue.

Reports say that a dirt bike and truck collided in south Phoenix on Wednesday night and killed a 19-year-old woman.

Officers arrived at the scene and found Gomez in critical condition.

Firefighters and paramedics rushed Gomez to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

Investigators say Gomez was a passenger on the dirt bike, traveling southbound along 16th Street, when it collided with a truck turning left into a private driveway. The dirt bike driver showed no signs of impairment, but detectives processed the truck driver for DUI.

Authorities have not identified the truck driver as they await a charging decision. The crash remains under investigation.
