Brittany Anthony Killed in Multi-Car Collision on San Diego Freeway [Sherman Oaks, CA]

Sherman Oaks, CA (November 3, 2025) — 33-year-old Brittany Anthony, died early Saturday following a multi-vehicle crash on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway near the Ventura (101) Freeway connector in Sherman Oaks.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 3:30 a.m. when Anthony’s Mazda sedan crashed and became disabled in the lanes, facing the wrong direction. Moments later, a Ford SUV sideswiped the Mazda, and a Toyota SUV collided with it head-on.

Anthony died at the scene. Authorities arrested the Toyota driver, identified as 37-year-old Mayra Alejandra Sanchez of Granada Hills, on suspicion of driving under the influence. The investigation remains ongoing.
