ST LOUIS, MO (May 4, 2026) – Saturday night, a person died in a brutal 2-vehicle crash in Franklin County.

The incident involving a pickup truck and a UTV happened at 9:43 p.m. in Franklin County.

Authorities said a UTV traveling eastbound crossed the center line and collided head-on with a westbound pickup truck.

The 49-year-old man driving the UTV was pronounced dead at the scene. The 62-year-old pickup driver sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
