1 Person Dead in Cherry Valley Auto Accident on Cherry Valley Boulevard and Roberts Street

CHERRY VALLEY, CA (September 7, 2025) – Saturday morning, a brutal 2-vehicle crash on Cherry Valley Boulevard and Roberts Street killed one person.

The incident happened at around 10:03 a.m. on Cherry Valley Boulevard and Roberts Road.

According to reports, a 2018 Ford Explorer Patrol vehicle that was responding to a call with lights and sirens on broadsided a 2018 Tesla Model 3 that was stopped at the intersection and made a sudden left turn.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 21-year-old male driver of the Tesla dead at the scene. Then, paramedics rushed a 20-year-old female passenger of the Tesla to a hospital with major injuries. Also, the deputies inside the patrol sustained minor injuries in the incident.

Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
