1 Dead in Pilot Point Auto Accident on FM 445 E and FM 1385

PILOT POINT, TX (July 7, 2026) – Monday, a person died in a brutal 2-vehicle crash on FM 445 E and FM 1385.

The incident involving two vehicles happened just after 12:00 noon at the intersection of FM 445 E and FM 1385.

According to the Pilot Point Police Department, one driver was traveling northbound on FM 1385 when they failed to yield to an eastbound vehicle, resulting in a collision.

Reports confirmed that one of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver was transported to a hospital for treatment, while that driver’s passengers did not suffer serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
