4 People Killed in Brutal 30-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 25

Injuries Reported in Pueblo Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 25 and Pueblo Boulevard

PUEBLO, CO (February 18, 2026) – Tuesday morning, 4 people died in a brutal 30-vehicle crash on Interstate 25 and Pueblo Boulevard.

The incident happened just after 10:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 at mile marker 92, south of Pueblo Boulevard.

The Colorado State Patrol said four people were killed in the crash. Investigators reported heavy winds in the area at the time, blowing dirt across the roadway and creating “brownout” conditions with little to no visibility for drivers.

The crash happened near Pueblo, about 40 miles south of Colorado Springs.

Authorities estimate at least 30 vehicles were involved, including six semi-trucks and several passenger vehicles. Some were pulling horse trailers, and officials said there were animals inside some of those trailers.
