1 Dead in Northridge Pedestrian Accident near Roscoe Boulevard and White Oak Avenue

NORTHRIDGE, CA (April 7, 2026) – Sunday night, a person died in a brutal hit-and-run crash near Roscoe Boulevard and White Oak Avenue.

The incident occurred at about 8:15 p.m. near Roscoe Boulevard and White Oak Avenue.

LAPD said a man in his 20s was struck by a vehicle while in the roadway.

Police said a 2006 Honda Accord traveling east on Roscoe Boulevard hit the man.

“The pedestrian was dragged a distance before becoming dislodged from the vehicle,” the release said. “The vehicle continued eastbound on Roscoe Boulevard without stopping to identify themselves or rendering aid as required by law.”

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics took the victim to a hospital, where he later died, police said.

City officials are offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspected hit-and-run driver.
