1 Dead in Highlands Ranch Pedestrian Accident near Willowbridge Way and E Wildcat Reserve Parkway

HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO (June 2, 2026) – Monday morning, a person died in a brutal hit-and-run crash near Willowbridge Way and E Wildcat Reserve Parkway.

The incident happened just after 10:30 a.m. near Willowbridge Way and East Wildcat Reserve Parkway, sheriff’s office spokesperson Deborah Takahara said.

A witness who saw the fatal crash reportedly followed the suspect vehicle after the driver fled the scene and helped deputies locate the suspect in nearby Daniels Park, according to Takahara. Deputies later arrested the driver, who has not been publicly identified.

Authorities said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

No identifying details were released about the pedestrians who were struck. Takahara said one person died at the scene, while two others were transported to the hospital with serious and critical injuries.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
