1 Dead in Jurupa Valley Pedestrian Accident on Mission Boulevard and Campbell Street

JURUPA VALLEY, CA (March 16, 2026) – Early Sunday morning, a person died in a brutal hit-and-run crash on Mission Boulevard and Campbell Street.

The incident happened just after 2:20 a.m. on Mission Boulevard and Campbell Street, said the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies arrived and found a pedestrian in the roadway with major injuries. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of family members.

The Jurupa Valley station’s Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team took over the investigation. Officials said the cause of the crash remained under review, and it was not known if alcohol or drugs played a role.
